Jasmine Fuego is the daughter of a Nicaraguan immigrant and Black American, and was born in California and raised in the Deep South. She is an Afro-Latinx musician, event producer and cultural curator—working at the intersection of art, culture and education to amplify the voices of the BIPOC community. She's currently a senior program manager at Skillshare, an online learning community for 5M+ creatives, and a producer for the Black Joy Parade which happens in Oakland every February. This episode is full of beautiful stories about identity, self discovery and Central American love. Connect with Jasmine on IG and TikTok on @jasminefuego and find her on LinkedIn. Big shoutout to my sponsor and partner, RisOn (RisOn.life)! As a Hella Latin@ listener, you get access to a free one-month RisOn membership. To all my first-gens friends, if y'all are ready to start your mental, emotional and spiritual journey, stick around at the end of the episode for more details.
